MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 20.81 points to 1,407.34.

Volume was 6.312 billion lots worth RM3.022 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 764 to 211.
