MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.20 points to 1,783.47.  

Volume was 20 million lots worth RM2 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 466 to 403.
