MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.16 points to 1,803.76.

Volume was 26.68 million lots worth RM2.48 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 589 to 302.
