    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday (Aug 12) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.63 point to 1,506.19.

    Volume was 2.084 billion lots worth RM1.628 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 440 to 367.
