MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 30.19 points to 1,684.58.

Volume was 10.031 billion lots worth RM6.188 billion.

Losers narrowly outnumbered gainers 690 to 626.
