    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.12 points to 1,600.43.

    Volume was 2.818 billion lots worth RM2.068 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 566 to 390.
