    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday (Oct 14) with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.11 points to 1,382.47.

    Volume was 2.253 billion lots worth RM1.761 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 481 to 335.
