    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday (Oct 21), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.70 points to 1,446.42. 

    Volume was 1.991 billion lots worth RM1.508 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 400 to 388.
