    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 13.840 points to 1,776.950.

    Volume was 2.456 billion lots worth RM2.578 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 732 to 247.
