    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.98 points to 1,727.36.

    Volume was 3.01 billion lots worth RM2.63 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 567 to 358.
