Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.52 point to 1,516.38.
Volume was 6.972 billion lots worth RM3.427 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 764 to 361.
