MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.55 points to 1,655.31.

Volume was 15.9 million lots worth RM155 million.

Losers beat gainers 576 to 267.
