MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.52 points to 1,511.66.

Volume was 5.174 billion lots worth RM3.514 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 569 to 458.
