MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.78 points to 1,413.12.

Volume was 5.950 billion lots worth RM3.190 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 504 to 434.
