Malaysia: Shares close higher on Monday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.72 points to 1,410.16.

Volume was 11.134 billion lots worth RM4.383 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 663 to 331.
