MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.13 points to 1,512.43.

Volume was 6.344 billion lots worth RM4.593 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 727 to 344.
