Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.19 points to 1,589.05.
Volume was 6.295 billion lots worth RM4.765 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 563 to 456.
