MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.08 points to 1,518.03.

Volume was 3.627 billion lots worth RM1.887 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 487 to 418.
