MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.75 points to 1,525.54.

Volume was 2.669 billion lots worth RM2.013 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 474 to 450.
