MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.75 points to 1,543.11.

Volume was 4.141 billion lots worth RM1.904 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 600 to 338.
