MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.33 points to 1,603.30.

Volume was 2.786 billion lots worth RM2.216 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 591 to 378.
