Malaysia: Shares close higher on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Friday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 9.85 points to 1,612.25.
Volume was 6.582 billion lots worth RM4.144 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 558 to 511.
