MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Monday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.99 point to 1,533.05.

Volume was 4.372 billion lots worth RM2.977 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers 587 to 424.
