MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 15.94 points to 1,585.74.

Volume was 4.385 billion lots worth RM3.254 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 580 to 506.
