MALAYSIA shares closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 1.83 points to 1484.64.

Volume was 2.829 billion lots worth RM2.352 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers by 504 to 361.
