MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 18.59 points to 1,570.10.

Volume was 3.197 billion lots worth RM2.621 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 567 to 399.
