MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.14 points to 1,587.36.

Volume was 2.860 billion lots worth RM2.363 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 530 to 370.
