Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.15 points to 1,607.73.
Volume was 7.900 billion lots worth RM4.984 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 545 to 534.
