Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.78 points to 1,608.35.
Volume was 6.251 billion lots worth RM3.998 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 676 to 479.
