MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.60 points to 1,548.31.

Volume was 4.792 billion lots worth RM2.631 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 510 to 432.
