MALAYSIA shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 7.26 points to 1,500.26.

Volume was 4.161 billion lots worth RM2.718 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 494 to 473.
