MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 20.69 points to 1,523.59.

Volume was 4.216 billion lots worth RM2.406 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 633 to 372.
