MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.52 points to 1,497.97.

Volume was 4.294 billion lots worth RM2.247 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 645 to 320.
