MALAYSIA shares closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 14.12 points to 1564.29.

Volume was 4.154 billion lots worth RM2.838 billion.

Losers outnumbered gainers by 639 to 357.
