MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up six points to 1,577.82.

Volume was 6.335 billion lots worth RM3.84 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 582 to 464.
