Malaysia: Shares close higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 2.35 points to 1,585.90.
Volume was 8.978 billion lots worth RM5.127 billion.
Gainers outnumbered losers 587 to 525.
