MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 7.73 points to 1,500.32.

Volume was 3.123 billion lots worth RM1.597 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 450 to 347.
