MALAYSIA shares closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.15 points to 1545.04.

Volume was 2.405 billion lots worth RM1.832 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers by 462 to 393.
