MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 6.05 points to 1,547.95.

Volume was 4.489 billion lots worth RM1.959 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 659 to 346.
