MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Wednesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 0.05 points to 1,597.18.

Volume was 3.548 billion lots worth RM2.242 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 505 to 394.
