    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 4.57 points to 1,598.32.

    Volume was 2.846 billion lots worth RM2.033 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 518 to 445.
