Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 36.88 points to 1,501.49.

Volume was 6.919 billion lots worth RM3.890 billion.

Gainers far outnumbered losers 1,096 to 204.
