MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 12.76 points to 1,810.87.

Volume was 2.2 billion lots worth RM2.4 billion.

Gainers narrowly outnumbered losers 485 to 418.
