    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 11.33 points to 1,597.31.

    Volume was 2.488 billion lots worth RM2.193 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 584 to 354.
