Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday (Aug 25), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 28.23 points to 1,495.49.

    Volume was 2.642 billion lots worth RM2.108 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 663 to 293.
