    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday (Sep 8), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 3.38 points to 1,494.73.

    Volume was 2.392 billion lots worth RM1.861 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 416 to 372.
