    MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday (Oct 20), with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 22.62 points to 1,437.72.

    Volume was 2.707 billion lots worth RM2.596 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers 493 to 365.
