Malaysia: Shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIA share prices closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 5.20 points to 1,554.78.
Volume was 13.706 billion lots worth RM5.559 billion.
Losers outnumbered gainers 580 to 544.
