Malaysia: shares close higher on Thursday

MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Thursday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 21.34 points to 1,759.00.

Volume was 2.43 billion shares worth RM3.26 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers by 631 to 328.
