    MALAYSIAN stocks closed higher on Thursday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 15.86 points to 1,895.18.

    Volume was 2.52 billion shares worth RM2.69 billion.

    Gainers outnumbered losers by 505 to 374.
